Albion defender James Chester could be on his way to Aston Villa after the club accepted an offer for the in-demand Wales international.
Chester caught the eye at the recent Euro 2016 Championships and played every game as Wales reached the semi finals.
Yet it is a different story down The Hawthorns with Chester down Tony Pulis pecking order.
The 27-year-old is Albion's record transfer for a defender but played only one game last season in his preferred central role. Chester featured 12 times for the Baggies last season, but most of those were in an unfamiliar left back position.
Chester returned to pre-season training and had crunch talks with Tony Pulis over his future at The Hawthorns.
The former Mancester United trainee signed for Albion for around £8m from Hull City last summer. It's believed Albion will want to recoup that fee.
