Albion have announced a new main sponsorship contract with Black Country firm HomeServe – believed to be for a record seasonal fee. The Walsall based firm will become the main sponsor for the club with their logo featuring on Albion’s home and away kit during the 2010/11 season and throughout prominent positions in The Hawthorns.
The Baggies have been without a main sponsor since 2008 when T-Mobile decided not to extend their association with the club. Towards the end of last season Albion agreed a match-to-match deal with a number of firms with relative success.
However, since after their return to the Premier League, the Baggies have been keen to secure a new deal with the new sponsorship reportedly in the region of £750,000 for the campaign.
“We are delighted to have HomeServe on board, particularly as this sponsorship brings together two highly-prominent West Midlands brands,” Albion’s Chief Executive, Mark Jenkins, said.
"In the current economic climate the club is pleased our shirts will feature a successful locally-based company with an international profile at the start of a new initiative.
"We can now start branding our new home and away kits with the HomeServe logo and sales dates will be announced shortly."
