Tony Pulis watched his Albion side again come from behind for the third game in the row as the Baggies pushed Spurs all the way in a pulsating 1-1 draw.
Dele Alli gave the visitors the lead in the 15th minute when he volleyed home past Boaz Myhill from the edge of the area. But Albion hit back in the first half when James McClean headed his first goal for the club.
Both sides pushed for a winner after the break but it was Albion who came the closest to scoring when Hugo Lloris made a world-class save from point blank range to deny Jonas Olsson.
"The really pleasing thing is that we have played three really good sides and come back to get something, which shows great character and that is what I look for in my teams.
"We played some good football at times and created some wonderful chances."
