Development players Chris Wood and Scott Allan look set for loan moves away from The Hawthorns as the two search for first team football.
It’s believed that Milwall are leading the chase for New Zealand frontman Wood with Allan reportedly interested in reviving a failed loan attempt by Crystal Palace.
Scottish under-21 international Allan told the Sunday Mail that he was due to join Dougie Freedman’s side in the summer on loan but a move eventually fell through.
“I’m hoping to get out on loan to get first-team football,” said the former Dundee United midfielder.
“I was meant to go to Crystal Palace in the window and it didn’t materialise.
“I was gutted and the manager was gutted for me.
Academy graduate Wood has previously spent time on loan at four other clubs in an attempt to aid his development and increase his first team experience. Last season he spent time at both Birmingham City and Bristol City.
