Baggies boss pleads for patience

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray wants Albion fans to remain patient while his latest signing adapts to English football. Felipe Teixeira has joined for £600,000 from Portuguese Academica de Coimbra and is expected to make his debut in Wednesday evening's friendly at Northampton.

Mowbray said: "He has got to get used to the players around him and the systems we use. There will be a period of adaptation for him and people will need to be patient with him, as I will be."
