Diafra Sakho looks set to become Albion's record transfer signing after the West Ham striker agreed terms on a £16m deal.
Reports suggested that Sakho had concerns about joining the Baggies after West Ham accepted a bid for the 26-year-old yesterday.
But Sakho has accepted Albion's contract offer and will now complete a medical before completing a deal.
Sakho joined the Hammers back in 2014 after progressing through the Metz academy. He has since gone on to score 15 times in 44 appearances but submitted a transfer request at the start of this season after the Hammers tried to sign another striker.
In total, he has scored 59 times in 163 career appearances.
