West Bromwich Albion have been drawn out against league one outfit AFC Bournemouth in the first round of the Carling Cup.
Football League newcomers Dagenham & Redbridge will play Luton Town, while fellow promoted side Morecambe travel to Preston North End.
The draw for the first round of the competition, won last season by Chelsea, has thrown up several intriguing ties, including several local derbies. Following relegation from the Premiership, Sheffield United will host Chesterfield, while Sheffield Wednesday visit Rotherham United.
Charlton Athletic head to Swindon Town, while the third team relegated from the top flight last term - Watford - have a home tie with Gillingham.
Former England team-mates Paul Ince and Dennis Wise will go head-to-head after Macclesfield Town were drawn at home to Leeds United.
