Baggies Not Interested In Niemi

The Southampton keeper had been the subject of a possible move to The Hawthorns but his agent Richard Cody has confirmed that Baggies boss Bryan Robson is not interested in signing the former Finland international.

"I can confirm that I have spoken to West Bromwich Albion about Niemi," Cody has said.

"But Bryan Robson has made it clear he wants a younger keeper for his squad.

"Antti will not be going there. He may get a younger keeper, but he will not get a better one."
