Graham Dorrans has had his season cruelly cut short after suffering a broken metatarsal. The Scottish B international picked up the injury during Albion’s 3-0 victory over Sunderland three weeks ago with initial X-rays showing no major damage.
The 22-year-old was forced to miss the Tottenham defeat then cut-short his performance against Wigan with a reoccurrence of his foot injury with a second scan confirming the worst for the former Livingston man.
"He didn't have a broken foot last week but it is the same foot," Tony Mowbray said.
"Last week's X-ray showed nothing, yet this week's X-ray shows a broken metatarsal."
The injury is a big blow for both Albion and Dorrans who has impressed during his eight Premier League appearances this season after his summer switch.
