Leon Barnett will complete a permanent switch to Norwich City when the transfer window open in January, following a successful loan spell.
The former Luton Town man has been on loan at Carrow Road since August and has impressed at the heart of the Canaries’ defence.
The 25-year old joined the Baggies for £2.5 million back in July 2007 following Curtis Davies’ departure. He enjoyed a successful first season at the club and helped Albion win the Championship title, making 36 appearances in the process.
But he fell down the pecking order at The Hawthorns following a tough first season in the Premier League and was eventually loaned to Coventry last season.
In total, Barnett made 56 appearances for the club, scoring three times.
