Slaven Bilic again watched his side come from behind to earn all three points after Albion's second-half comeback against Huddersfield.
The Baggies trailed 2-1 going into the break after familiar defensive errors again cost Albion.
After Matt Phillip's first half strike, Darnell Furlong scored his first for the club when he met substitue Grady Diagana's cross.
Minutes later Albion were ahead when Phillips got his second of the afternoon after more good work from Diagana before Semi Ajayi scored his second header in consecutive games.
Speaking to Radio WM, Bilic said: "It was a very good performance, especially in the second half. I am not happy with the way we were at times in the first half.
"Grady took his chance, but the guys started to play quicker. The whole team played on the front foot.
"It is nice to be unbeaten, we are playing good football and the crowd love it.
"It is still early days but we are only one point from the top, so well done to the lads."
