Bluebirds boss Lenny Lawrence has said that he is a big admirer of the former Preston player, who can also do a good job in central defence.
"We are admirers of Sean Gregan and we are monitoring his position at The Hawthorns," Lawrence said.
"The fact he can play in a number of positions is a real plus."
