Jonathan Bond kept another clean sheet in the FA Cup to help Albion into the draw for the fifth round.
The keeper was in top form during Albion's 0-0 draw at Brighton with the former England Under-21 stopper make a number of key saves.
The 25-year-old was making his second appearance of the season and says it was a good day all round for Albion's young side.
"I was quite busy to be fair, but you can expect that, really, coming to a good side like Brighton," he said.
"I thought the lads defended really well and, like I said, it was end-to-end.
"It was a good game for the neutral, even though it was 0-0, I think everyone can be happy and from a goalkeeping perspective I was definitely happy as well.
"Today was one of those days when I had some stuff to do and the playing out (from the back) is difficult when there is so many changes in the team, but I thought we dealt with that really well as well.
"So from all angles I thought we did well as a back unit."
