Slaven Bilic again watched his Albion side come back from behind on the road to earn a share of the points during the Baggies' 1-1 draw at Fulham.
Albion again found themselves a goal down when Anthony Knockaert curled home an 18-yard effort into the top corner.
Fulham had a number of chances to extend their lead before Semi Ajayi headed in his first Albion goal after a fumble from Fulham keeper Marcus Bettinelli.
“Of course, when you come to the home of a team such as this, you know you are not going to dominate them,” Blilc said after the final whistle.
“The way they started for the first half hour did not surprise us but we started to show in little moments that we could carry a threat to them too.
“I think to therefore finish the game with maybe the home crowd a little more relieved for the final whistle than ourselves is a good sign.
“But I would not like us to wait for the opposition to score before we assert ourselves as we did. As I say, you are going to have to defend here because they are a strong team and this is a very good point. But we can do better and we have shown that we have the attacking players who can trouble any opposition."
