Roberto Di Matteo has his thoughts firmly set on winning three points tomorrow night (KO 8pm).
The Baggies boss has cast aside any thoughts of signing any more players during the transfer window and is concentrating on beating the Latics at The Hawthorns.
Albion won their last game in the Black Country against Blackpool and tomorrow’s game is the start of three vital fixtures at home against follow strugglers Wigan, Wolves and West Ham.
The Italian knows that a clean sweep of points will see Albion take a major step towards survival and is hoping better fortunes this time around after November’s disappointing 1-0 defeat to Wigan at the DW Stadium.
"It is a similar game to Blackpool in terms of the importance of it," admitted the head coach.
"It's a game we're playing at home against a competitor and we need to try to get three points out of it.
"I don't think we deserved to lose at Wigan but they had a break and we got done by it.
"But that's a long time ago already."
