Tony Mowbray has revealed he intends to pursue the permanent transfer of both Kim Do-Heon and Michal Danek. The Korean midfielder and Czech stopper both joined on loan in January from Seongnam Chunma and Viktoria Plzen respectively, and although neither has enjoyed a sustained run of games in the first-team, Mowbray has seen enough on the training field to continue his interest in the pair.

"Kim has been very unfortunate because of the scenario we've found ourselves in," Mowbray said.

"Every game is a huge, huge game at the moment.

"Like Michal Danek, the games are too important to risk experimentation.

"I can see the talent of these players but I don't want to experiment with them in these important games.

"Kim is undoubtedly a wonderful footballer.

"You can speak to any of our players and they will all back that up based on the stuff he can do in training.

"The Premier League is a less attritional league and is not as direct as the Championship so Kim's assets and qualities would be there to be seen.

"He's shown me he can run and compete in training.

"But at this moment the games are too important to mix things around.

"Would you leave Koren or Greening out of centre-midfield just to give Kim a game?

"No.

"We've just got to keep going and the time to experiment is hopefully in pre-season when you're trying to get the right balance of your team and see what formation he fits into.

"Can he play wide or in just one position?

"Without rubber-stamping it with the chairman I would anticipate we'll take the option up on both those players.

"But let's wait and see because there is a bit of work to be done on this season and then we'll decide.

"I've seen what they can do in training and they've just been unfortunate not to get minutes on the pitch."
