Tony Pulis was delighted to get his second win as Albion boss but insists there's still plenty more work to do.
Goals from Ideye Brown and Saido Berahino brushed aside Swansea to move Albion four points clear of the drop zone.
But Pulis remained cautious of Albion's chances of avoiding the drop - despite the Baggies moving up to 14th in the Premier League.
"It was a good performance. It's small steps to where we want to go," said Pulis.
"Everyone will keep their feet on the ground. We played well in possession and out of possession.
"It's the best they've played since I've been here, and against a very good Swansea side. We looked like a 'team'.
"The players take a lot of credit but it's just one game and no two games are the same. The other games are going to be very difficult."
