Tony Mowbray has warned his men to be aware of a Watford backlash this Saturday (KO 5.20pm) after their disappointing 3-0 loss at the hands of Barnsley on Wednesday. While the Hornets may have faltered at home this season they currently have the best away record in the league recording ten wins, seven draws and just four defeats.

Aidy Boothroyd's men are currently fifth in the Championship just two points behind Albion, albeit having played a game more, with Mowbray expecting another touch encounter at The Hawthorns this weekend.

"They'll be looking for a reaction to Wednesday's 3-0 defeat by Barnsley," the Albion chief said.

"They've still got the best away record in the league.

"We've got to be very respectful of that and I would anticipate a very tough game.

"On the evidence of watching them on Wednesday night, they still put lots of pressure on your defenders.

"They put lots of balls into the box and long throws.

"We've got to be ready to stand up to that at the weekend."
