Chris Brunt wants to take the momentum from Albion's FA Cup victory into the league campaign.
Albion won their first game in all competitions against Exeter after goals from Salomon Rondon and Jay Rodriguez.
The Baggies return to league action on Saturday after Brighton and Brunt says his teammates must take confidence into the league fixture against the two Albions.
“All in all it was a game we needed to win," said Albion's captain on the day.
"Obviously we’re on a horrendous run in all competitions, so it was nice to break that duck and hopefully we can take a bit of confidence into the Brighton game next week.”
