Clement eyes Christmas return
West Brom defender Neil Clement has set his sights on a return to fitness by Christmas.Clement has been missing from first-team action since April after undergoing knee surgery. But the 28-year-old is hopeful of returning to first-team contention during the Christmas and New Year period after playing 90 minutes in the reserves' 3-1 win over Stoke in midweek. It was Clement's first full game for seven months and he said: "I just want to get a few more games for the reserves under my belt, be banging out 90 minutes pain free and then take it from there. "I am thinking of a comeback around Christmas. "But I'm not really setting my sights on anything more than that, otherwise you get too disappointed if there is a setback."
