Curtis Davies undergoes foot operation
Highly-rated West Brom defender Curtis Davies has undergone surgery to repair the broken foot he suffered in the defeat to Crystal Palace. The 22-year-old has had the fractured metatarsal in his left foot pinned and must now rest for six weeks before embarking on a rehabilitation programme. Baggies manager Tony Mowbray said: "The operation went very well and Curtis is fine. Now he has been given some time off to recuperate and let us just hope he has a smooth and speedy recovery. Losing Curtis for the rest of the season is not ideal for him or us, but it is part and parcel of the game. However, he will be coming in every now and again to be assessed and I am sure the lads will be glad to see him."
