Di Matteo to be named Baggies boss

Di Matteo is expected to be named as the successor to Tony Mowbray in the Albion hotseat withing the next 48 hours.

The former Chelsea and Italian international midfielder will be signing a one year rolling contract.

Di Matteo's former Chelsea team-mate Eddie Newton, who was his assistant manaer at Stadium MK, will be his assistant boss at the Hawthorns.
