"The Scottish international travelled to Deepdale for talks over personal terms this morning (Friday) and will discuss the move with his family over the weekend before making a decision.
"The deal would see Preston pay the Baggies a guaranteed £500,000 for Dobie and the fee could rise by up to a further £250,000 if he helps North End win promotion to the Premiership.
