The Albion striker, who moved to the Yorkshire side on a season long loan deal last week, bagged two second half goals before being substituted after seventy minutes of the game at Elland Road.
"After only 10 minutes I felt I wouldn't last until half-time, but the adrenalin kept me going," he said after his first taste of action for his new side.
"I lacked sharpness and my legs felt heavy, but I wanted to do well."
