Terry Burton and Mervin Day have both been shown The Hawthorns exit door with immediate effect.
Former Technical Director Burton and Head of Recruitment Day have been placed on gardening leave as part of the club’s on-going performance review.
Chairman Jeremy Peace praised the efforts of both men during last season.
I am on record as saying the Club would be engaged in an on-going review at all levels and it was felt changes were required.
"We are looking ahead positively to a new beginning under Tony Pulis after two gruelling seasons. All our focus now is on preparing the squad for a stronger performance."
Our plans for this summer are already in place,” he added. “In Tony, we have a very experienced and hands-on operator. In the fullness of time we will recruit suitable candidates for the posts.”
Burton and Day both joined the club last summer as part of a previously shake-up of Albion’s backroom team.
In separate appointments, Andy Thorn and Mel Johnson have been appointed as club scouts. Much respected Thorn will watch targets in the north of England with former Spurs spotter Johnson tasked with the south.
