Jonny Evans says it was a bitter pill to swallow after watching Watford score a last minute equaliser to snatch a point at The Hawthorns.
Evans extended Albion's lead in the first half after Salomon Rondon's strike.
But the Hornets came back with a goal just before half time before bagging a point in the 95th minute.
“It was virtually the last kick of the ball, I think we had two touches after the kick-off,” said the Albion captain.
“It’s not nice to concede like that, it’s a hard one to take, we got one ourselves last year at West Ham.
“Going two goals up and it’s not like us to relinquish a lead like that.
“We were 2-0 up and we should have held on from there.
“When we’re all back in after the international break we will all have a look at this game and decide where we can improve.”
