Dwight Gayle admitted all he wanted for Christmas was three points and a hat-trick - and got his wish after an eye-catching display against Rotherham.
The on-loan striker found the net in the 6th, 44th and then 54th minute as Albion breezed past the Millers.
On the journey up to Rotherham, he said he had joked with Jake Livermore about his Christmas wishes and both came true in Yorkshire.
“We were talking on the bus on the way to the game and Jake said he wanted to get everyone a gift,” said Gayle.
“I said I’ll be happy with three points and a hat-trick and it’s weird that it ended up happening.
“I’m buzzing to help out the team, after the Sheffield United win I thought it was vital we got another win here."
