"There's been a lot written about me in the papers and a lot of fans have been asking me whether I will be staying or not," he told the club's official website.
"As far as I'm concerned, I signed a new four-year contract last summer and nothing has changed. I certainly won't be asking for a move in the summer.
"I'm still really happy here. It's the happiest I've felt at any club during my career and I think that has shown in the way I've been playing.
"The club and the fans have had a taste of the Premiership this season and I'm sure they'd like to get back there.
"And that's all I'm thinking about - trying to help the club get back up next season.
"I feel I've got a really good rapport with the fans which means a lot to me."
