Albion have been given an injury boost with the news that Kim Do-Heon looks set to be sidelined for weeks rather than months. When the Korean Republic international twisted his knee in the opening seconds at the Riverside Stadium it was at first feared his anterior cruciate ligament had been damaged leaving him sidelined for anywhere up to six months.
However, an initial scan on Monday showed suspected damage to Kim's medial knee ligament which is expected to heal in approximately six to eight weeks.
"The initial signs from Kim's scan are quite positive," Tony Mowbray said.
"But we will have more of a definitive picture once a specialist has looked at the scan."
