I don't want to see Curtis Davies leave, or Nathan Ellington, or whoever else. I want West Brom to keep our best players. If someone does move on, the chairman will take the view that it is best for the club. Some players love the speculation because it boosts their ego. I've had mine boosted. It is great as a player. I always enjoyed it. It always gave me a confidence boost if I was linked with a big club."
