"I will remain at Albion. I am the captain and I have a lot of things on my shoulders," he said.
"I am not going to pull out. I am going to carry on and help Albion survive in the Premiership.
"I have enjoyed the experience since joining Albion. I was fully aware of where the club stands.
"I am now playing every game and that is a big bonus for me. That is why I joined Albion, to play football and prove a lot of teams wrong.
"My aim is to see that the club survive and I believe we will be able to do that. It's a new ball game but it is good how I am handling the situation.
"The luck is not on our side and we are not scoring as often as we should. When this changes we will see a big improvement as there is a very good spirit in the team."
