Kanu Going Nowhere

Media reports have suggested that the Nigerian international could be set to leave the Baggies following the arrival of striker Kevin Campbell from Everton earlier this week but Robson insisted that Kanu is still very much in his first team plans.

"With five strikers it gives us a lot of pace and power and they are all a part of the squad," Robson has said.

"At the weekend Kanu had a virus and missed the FA Cup tie with Preston but his attitude has been very good. He leads the line well and has given everything.

"We need a few forwards as we have to start scoring and winning games, and Kanu remains very much part of my plans."
