The on-loan from Liverpool keeper has broken the left index finger during training.

"I just caught a ball at the end of my finger and heard it pop and crack,'' Kirkland said.

"I tried to carry on for a little bit, but it was just too sore.

"It's a new break and I've just been unlucky again.''
