Korean international midfielder, Kim Do-Heon, will be in contention for the clash with Blackburn Rovers after making an almost miraculous recovery from medial knee ligament damage.

The summer signing was expected to be sidelined for another THREE weeks but has returned to full training this week with Tony Mowbray welcoming back the skilful midfield man.

"Kim's just about ready," the Baggies boss said.

"He's now in full training and way ahead of schedule.

"He probably won't travel tomorrow but I'm hopeful he'll be ready for the weekend - and pushing for a place.

"This is the first time Kim's been injured since joining us.

"Some players are good healers and recover very quickly while others' problems can drag on.

"Let's hope this is a good sign for Kim and he will recover quickly from any knocks he does get."

The Baggies boss also had further good news on Albion's walking wounded with both Filipe Teixeria and Abdoulaye Meite training with the physio after respective calf injuries.

"Filipe and Abou haven't rejoined the squad yet but are out on the training pitch with the physio and the ball," Mowbray added.

"They're doing everything - running, sprinting, kicking - apart from competitive training.

"But they're not far away."
