Luck on Miller's side

Ishmael Miller has unsurprisingly admitted the fortune associated with his 59th minute strike against Plymouth during Saturday's 3-0 victory. The January signing struck a hopeful looping volley from the edge of the area only to see the ball drop into the net as the Baggies secured a two-goal advantage against their promotion rivals.
The former Manchester City forward had already seen his shot saved in the build-up for Zoltan Gera's opener with a number of chances also failing to find the back off the net. However Miller refused to give up the search for his 12th goal of the campaign with lady-luck firmly on his side as the pace-ace battles back from injury.
"If you don't try they don't go in," Miller said.
"Luckily it dropped in.
"I fell to the floor when I scored because I was tired but delighted to score.
"It's great to score and get three points.
"We needed the three points desperately.
"I hadn't scored a league goal for a few months but that's mainly due to injury.
"I'm just trying to get myself going again so I can last 90 minutes."
