James McClean has got his move away from the Baggies after joining Stoke City in a deal which could reach £6m.
McClean, who earlier this summer refused to train with the club, had indicated he would persue a move away from The Hawthorns following relegation.
But instead of returning to the Premier League, he has made the short switch to fellow Championship side Stoke City and will join up with other Albion old-boys Saido Berahino and Darren Fletcher.
In a post on social media, McClean said: "In regards to West Brom, I had a great time there, met so many great people from players to staff to fans, things didn’t end how I would have liked on few aspects that’s life, I want to wish Mooro and everyone there all the best, hopefully this will be a Premier league fixture soon."
In total, the Republic of Ireland international made 112 appearnces, scoring five times.
