Megson To Study Koumas Red Card

The Wales international was given his marching orders by referee Keith Hill for an off-the-ball incident involving Darel Russell just moments before the final whistle at The Britannia Stadium on Tuesday night.

"I didn't see the sending off even though it was right under my nose because I'd followed the ball," Megson said.

"The referee said Jason kicked out and if that's so it was probably indicative of the way the match was going.

"We'll look at it with regards to a possible appeal because it could mean a suspension for Jason next season, although by then he might not even be in the team anyway."

Should the red card stand then Koumas is facing a four game ban at the beginning of next season after this his second sending off in four games.
