Keith Andrews has set his sights on extending his Albion career beyond the end of this season.
The Republic of Ireland international penned a six-month deal in January after swapped Blackburn for The Hawthorns.
He stepped off the bench to make a goalscoring-debut against his former club Wolves on Sunday and now hopes to impress in Albion’s engine room and earn another contract.
“I have really enjoyed my time here so far," said Andrews.
"I've settled really well and the lads have made me feel really welcome.
"I knew a few of them anyway but I have enjoyed my time so far.
"I have enjoyed the training sessions and being around the lads and making my debut at the weekend was hopefully the first of many games this season.
"I would certainly be open to a longer deal.
"I have come here to play for a head coach I want to play for and a club I believe is run well and has a good set of lads that I enjoy coming in and working with every day.
"I enjoy being part of the team, so I am certainly open to it and I'm sure if I keep going the way I am then the club will be as well."
