Albion boss Darren Moore claimed Dwight Gayle had the perfect performance as his treble helped Albion to beat Rotherham 4-0.
Gayle opened the scoring after six minute when his low free kick found the bottom corner. He then added a second with a low header before half time and then took home the match ball after an error from Rotherham 'keeper Marek Rodek.
Harvey Barnes netted Albion's other after Jay Rodriguez had rattled the post.
"Dwight's popped up with three goals - a great contribution," said a beaming Baggies boss.
"His performance was excellent and testament to him.
"He'll be the first to say it's his team-mates helping him get the goals but you still have to be on the end of them.
"His enthusiasm, his energy, his work-rate. It's all phenomenal."
