Albion midfielder James Morrison looks likely to win his first Scotland cap this evening in Prague against the Czech Republic. Although the former Middlesbrough man has played for England at various youth levels, Mozza was called up by George Burley after an impressive season helping Albion gain promotion.
Morrison was called up originally in August by former Scots boss Alex McLeish for the friendly against South Africa but was forced to pull-out of the squad due to injury. However the absence of a number of regulars including captain Barry Ferguson, Scott Brown and Lee McCulloch amongst others has worked in Morrison's favour with the Darlington born man likely to be included in Burley's XI.
Dean Kiely won his tenth and successive cap last night at the Republic of Ireland beat Columbia 1-0 at Craven Cottage with Albion's No.1 scooping the Man-of-the-Match award after a number of fine saves. Ireland took the lead early on with Robbie Keane scoring via a deflection however had Kiely to thank for Trappottoni's first win as Ireland boss.
"Dean made two or three great saves," the former Italian chief said.
"He saved one or two (certain) goals."
