West Brom manager Tony Mowbray has poured cold water on speculation linking him with a move for Tottenham winger Wayne Routledge. Mowbray enquired about Routledge's availability during the transfer window but the move never materialised. The 22-year-old has since been linked with a possible loan move to The Hawthorns but Mowbray has laughed off the reports.
He said: "I do not know where that story has come from. Routledge was a player we talked about two months ago, but it never materialised and we move on."
