New loan signing Ahmed Hegazi admits he doesn't score too many headers but that didn't stop him clinching all three points for Albion.
The 6'5" central defender scored Albion's first goal of the season in the 31st minute when he nodded in Chris Brunt's free kick at the back post.
The goal capped an impressive debut for Hegazi in the heart of Albion's defence.
"The first game is always very important for the team and for the start of the season," he said.
"We can take enormous confidence from this.
“It is a very good win and a fantastic feeling.
“To start well was very important for us."
