West Brom could give Kevin Phillips a swift debut for the Carling Cup trip to Leyton Orient on Thursday after his signing was sealed in time to play. Baggies manager Bryan Robson is expected to ring the changes after naming an unchanged line-up for his side's opening four Championship games. Darren Carter, Junichi Inamoto and Richard Chaplow have all been restricted to substitute appearances so far this season but could start. But Neil Clement (knee) and Thomas Gaardsoe (groin) will again miss out.
