No pressure on Korean signing

Tony Mowbray has urged Albion fans to be patient with deadline day signing Kim Do-heon as the Korean international settles into Hawthorns life. After signing on loan until the end of the season from Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma, the midfielder immediately returned to his homeland for last night's 4-0 World Cup qualifier win against Turkmenistan in Seoul.

Mowbray is now prepared to let Do-heon ease his way into English football with the midfielder not in consideration for Saturday's trip to Barnsley.

The Albion boss said, "It's not a problem that Kim is away so soon after joining."

"He needs to get the paperwork in place to enable him to play.

"The sooner he does that the better.

"People shouldn't be expecting to see Kim in our team straight away at the weekend.

"There will be an adaptation period for him.

"He's got to train with the players more and get used to the environment that we work and train in.

"We need to make him feel part of our football club and, when the time is right, he'll be part of the team and hopefully his talent will flourish."
