Jonas Olsson looks set to leave The Hawthorns after Albion’s relegation admitting he’ll leave the club in June.
The summer signing was arguable the Baggies’ outstanding player in a shaky defence last term but his performances have also alerted several Premier League clubs.
Now, after reported interest in the former Swedish Under-21 international, the no-nonsense defender has admitted he’d like a move back to the Premier League – but will leave any decision to his agent.
I have heard that there are a few clubs talking about me, but it is my agent, Martin Dahlin, who will deal with the issue,” Olsson told Fotbolls Expressen.
“It is flattering – I have got the taste for The Premier League now.
“I will leave in June.
“We will see what happens when I return [from holiday] with the transfer window open.
“I like the club and the city but, without showing any disrespect to me team, this is the reality.
“You always want to re-motivate yourself by taking another step up.”
