Pearson handed ban
Baggies assistant boss Nigel Pearson has admitted a Football Association charge of using abusive and/or insulting words to a match official. Bryan Robson's deputy has been fined £900 and must serve a one-match touchline ban on 4 September which encompasses the game with Leicester. The charge related to Albion's match against Birmingham on 11th March when the two sides were in the Premiership. Pearson was sent from the dug-out for dissent after contesting a penalty.
