Pompey Join Huckerby Chase

Manchester City have already confirmed that they have accepted offers from both West Brom and Norwich for the former Newcastle Utd striker but now Portsmouth appear to be the latest club to show an interest.

Pompey chief executive Peter Storrie has said: "Darren Huckerby is one in Harry Redknapp's thoughts.

"It's for Harry to weigh up. He's got tremendous pace, but Harry also has to consider whether he's better than what we've got.
