Baggies boss Tony Pulis reckons the arrival of new Albion skipper Darren Fletcher will help iron out Saido Berahino.
Berahino was put on the ‘naughty chair’ by Pulis after he revealed his intention in an interview to move on the bigger things than the Baggies.
Pulis duly left Berahino out of his starting XI but the youngster played the majority of the game against Burnley after Victor Anichebe’s early injury.
The Baggies head coach believes there was no intention to insult Albion fans during Berahino’s interview but said the youngster should review who he takes advice from.
“Saido is a good lad,” said Pulis.
“He’s not a bad person but he’s had misguided information and advice because he never had that role model. It’s not just Saido but all the way through football that can be the case.
“There is a lot of money floating around in football and bringing Fletcher in can help Saido too.”
