Tony Pulis is refusing to panic over Albion’s lack of transfer activity and believes the club will recruit the five players he wants before the end of the month.
Albion have less than two weeks to strengthen their squad before the summer transfer window closes.
Victor Anichebe and Stephane Sessegnon were allowed to leave the club at the end of last season. James Chester has also been sold to Championship neighbours Aston Villa.
Doubts also remain over the future of Saido Berahino with Stoke still offering a deal in excess of £20m for the striker.
Pulis previously told reporters he wanted up to five new players before the transfer window closes and wants to add to his defensive, midfield and forward ranks.
So far this summer only Matt Phillips has joined from QPR for a fee of around £5.5m and Pulis is keen to add new more new faces.
“The players are waiting for people to come in, and the supporters are waiting for people to come in,” he said.
"So fingers crossed, it will be a busy two weeks."
