Tony Pulis has extended his stay as Head Coach of West Bromwich Albion.
The Welshman has signed a new one-year contract until the summer of 2018. Pulis' existing deal was set to expire at the end of this season.
Reports had suggested Pulis and Albion would part ways in the summer after a difficult few months.
Pulis and new Albion chairman John Williams clashed over the club's summer recruitment and certain sections of Albion's fans have questioned his negative tactics.
However, any speculation has now been ended and Pulis wants to establish Albion as a top-ten club in the Premier League during his stay in the Black Country.
“As I have said from the outset, I want to build things here and play my part in improving the Club. You cannot do these things overnight but I do believe, step by step, we are making advances.
“I think the bulk of our fans understand the process we embarked upon under the shadow of relegation less than two years ago.
“We have a Club which can aspire to be an established top 10 member of the football league everyone in the world wants to be part of. I want to continue to front that challenge."
